In very good condition with very good dustwrapper (dw; slightly rubbed along edges with a couple of small tears. Not price clipped). Small marks to endpapers from old sticky tape. Else a clean and tight copy. 104pp. With b/w photographs and illustrations and hallmarks. Intended for the layman rather than the dedicated professional, the book necessarily deals mainly with the French Silver of the 18th century when French influence was paramount throughout Europe.
