Corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Else a clean and tight copy. 275pp. English translation of a first-century BC didactic poem by the Roman poet and philosopher Lucretius, with the goal of explaining Epicurean philosophy to a Roman audience, and an attempt to show that everything in nature can be explained by natural laws without the need for the intervention of divine beings.
