Size 6.0 x 9.0 inches. In beige cloth boards with gilt to brown morocco title label on light brown cloth spine. In very good condition. Spine slightly darkened and rubbed at ends. Boards slightly darkened along top edges. Owner’s bookplate to front endpaper. Else a clean and tight copy. 218pp. With b/w line drawings and maps. An unusual book from this author. A history of roads and road transport in England. It was taken up and bought by The British Reinforced Concrete Engineering Company to be issued to those involved in the construction and development of roads in this country.
