This revised and illustrated account of the Siege of Lucknow in 1857, is written by a man who at the time was a student in the College. He describes the buildings in and around Lucknow and relates the incidents which took place there. Chapter 2 describes the events leading up to, and the siege itself. Includes the poem, The Defence of Lucknow by Alfred Lord Tennyson. A very scarce item.
