Clean and tight inside. 47pp. With b/w photographs and large coloured fold out map in pocket at back. Catalogue of Auction sale of East Knoyle Estate, Wiltshire, in 1946. Includes detailed descriptions of the dwellings, other buildings etc and the rents available. Also, loose inside are three small catalogues for the auction of Red House Farm, East Knoyle, in 1928, with pencil notes on lots, including prices and who bought them. A fascinating piece of local history.

Page from magazine with drawing by Turner, loose in front. On 13 July 1933, the new harbour and the extended borough boundary was declared open by Edward, The Prince of Wales. A series of formal events marked the occasion. This is the official programme. It is illustrated with portraits and with pictures of the old harbour, and the new with the new gas works and the almost completed new electricity show rooms. An interesting look at an important event in the history of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis.
